What we collect
When you register for a class, join a waitlist or interest list, sign up for email updates, or send us a message, we collect what you type in: your name, email, phone number, your dancers' names and birthdates, emergency contact details, allergy or medical notes you choose to share, and your waiver and photo-release choices.
We keep this together as a family profile, so Leah can see each dancer's age, notes, and classes in one place and you don't have to repeat yourself every season. Only Leah can see family profiles; they're never shown on the website.
Payments are handled by Square on its secure checkout page. We never see or store your full card number; we only receive a confirmation and receipt link.
How we use it
- To run classes: rosters, attendance, emergency contacts, and performance planning.
- To send confirmations, waitlist offers, schedule changes, and class reminders.
- To send studio news, only if you signed up for it. Every update email has an unsubscribe link.
We never sell or rent your information.
Who helps us
We use a few trusted services to run the website: Square (payments), Resend (email delivery), Neon (secure database), Vercel (hosting and privacy-friendly visit statistics), and Cloudflare Turnstile (spam protection). Each only receives what it needs to do its job. Your Square receipt lists the class and your dancers' names, and Square keeps its own payment records under its own privacy policy.
Children's information
Our forms are for parents and guardians, and children don't sign up or create accounts here. Only a dancer's parent or legal guardian should register them. We use children's information only to run their classes: birthdates to place dancers in the right class, and allergy or medical notes so Leah can keep them safe. We never use it for advertising and never share it except as described above. Ask us any time to see, correct, or delete it.
How long we keep it
We keep a family profile while you're taking classes or on a list with us. If a family hasn't registered or joined a list for three years, we delete it automatically. When a profile is deleted, by you asking or after three years, names, contact details, birthdates, and notes are erased. We keep the payment amounts and dates without names, as tax rules require.
