Where are classes held?
Youth classes meet at Kenyon-Wanamingo High School (400 6th St, Kenyon). Depending on the class, that's the Castle, the gym, or the auditorium. Adult barre classes meet at Workout 24/7 Gym in Kenyon (611 2nd St) and Wanamingo (220 Main St). Line dancing meets at KW High School.
Which class is right for my dancer?
Pre-Petite is ages 3-5 (pre-K and kindergarten), Petite ages 6-8 (1st and 2nd grade), Mini ages 8-10 (3rd and 4th grade), Middle ages 10-12 (5th and 6th grade), and Jr/Sr ages 12 and up (7th grade and up). Family classes are for kids 8+ with a grown-up, and adult classes are 16+. Not sure? Reach out and Leah will help you choose.
What styles of dance do you teach?
Jazz, high kick, pom, hip-hop, line dancing, and barre fitness.
What is barre fitness?
A low-impact, high-energy workout set to upbeat music. Using high-repetition movements, you'll strengthen your core, sculpt your glutes, and challenge your full body while moving to the rhythm.
Will my dancer compete?
Not yet. Competition teams (grades 4-12) are a long-term goal. Right now dancers perform at basketball games, a winter show, and a spring recital.
Do I need dance experience?
No. We meet every dancer where they are. Adult classes are zero judgment and zero expectations.
What happens if a class is full?
Join the waitlist on the class page. If a spot opens, we'll email the next person in line a link that holds the spot for them.
