Sunjoy Studio is a small, locally owned dance studio operating in Kenyon and Wanamingo, Minnesota. We do not sell your personal data to third parties — ever.

In the future we plan to use tools such as Google Analytics and Meta (Facebook) Pixel to help us understand how visitors use our site and to improve our marketing. We will never use your information for purposes unrelated to Sunjoy Studio without your explicit consent.

3. Payment Information

Payments for adult classes booked through our website are processed securely through Wix Payments. Sunjoy Studio does not store your credit card number, CVV, or full payment details on our systems. All payment data is handled by Wix Payments in accordance with their security standards and privacy policy.

Youth class registrations are processed through the KW Community Education website. Please refer to their privacy policy for information on how they handle your payment and personal data.

4. Information Sharing & Disclosure

Sunjoy Studio does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

Service providers — we use Wix to host our website and manage bookings. Wix processes data on our behalf in accordance with their own privacy policy
Legal requirements — we may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request
Safety — we may share information if we believe it is necessary to protect the safety of our students, staff, or the public

In the future, if we begin using third party analytics or advertising tools such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel, we will update this policy to reflect how those tools interact with your data and provide you with options to opt out.

Sunjoy Studio offers classes for children of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13. All registration and contact forms on our website are intended to be completed by a parent or legal guardian on behalf of a minor.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13 without parental consent, please contact us immediately and we will take prompt steps to remove that information.

Youth class registrations for Community Education classes are handled through the KW Community Ed website. Sunjoy Studio does not directly collect or store registration data for those classes.

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Specifically:

Booking and registration records — retained for a minimum of 3 years for business and liability purposes
Waiver acknowledgments — retained for a minimum of 3 years
Contact form submissions — retained for up to 1 year unless an ongoing relationship is established
Email newsletter subscribers — retained until you unsubscribe

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us directly. We will honor deletion requests unless retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as dispute resolution.

Currently we do not use additional tracking cookies beyond what Wix requires to operate the site. In the future when we add Google Analytics or Meta Pixel, those tools will place additional cookies on your device to help us understand site traffic and measure the effectiveness of our advertising.
